Christmas
Can you believe it? It's almost Christmas. It seems like just yesterday to me that I was starting here at WTC back in August. It's okay with me though of course that the semester is coming to and end because Christmas is just a special time of year. Everyone's out of school, people are taking off of work and we're all spending time with friends and family. This is the time of year you get to spend time with people you don't get to see very often. This is truly a special time of year and I wouldn't pass it up for anything. Well, besides for maybe all the shopping.......

Heroes.
I just noticed today that I haven't been keeping up on my blog like I am suppose to (ugh-oh) but here I am typing one now. As I rack my brain for something, anything to write about it comes to me to write about what I think is probably the best show on Television right now and that's NBC's Heroes. I love watching Heroes on Monday nights because to me it's just and all around great show because it includes things such as romance, comedy, action and all the pivotal things we as TV viewers tune into watch. I started watching it on the internet actually where I weirdly enough start watching all shows before i watch them on TV. It's just a weird habbit of mine to size TV shows up online.
Anwyays, back on topic. I think Heroes is a great show for many of the reason I listed and if you are looking for a show to watch on Monday's or are just bored. I'd advise giving it a try!

For those about to ROCK!
So since starting my job at Buffalo Wild Wings back in August. I've lost sleep because of it but that's ok because you know. I'm making money! Which all came to this weekend as I got the tickets to my AC/DC concert in January that I ordered off my second check. Now most people don't know me but one thing that's huge in my life is Rock music. I like a little bit of all types of rock and have been to almost every concert in La Crosse since the buckcherry one a couple of years ago. Getting the tickets to AC/DC though means I get to see a legendary rock band perform live and I got floor seats to boot. Should be a good time come January.

Pro Wrestling
I am going to say it right now. I watch pro wrestling and all I can say to anyone who thinks of that weirdly is simply put. So what? We all have things that make us different and this is one of my many qualties. It's one of those things in high School that many people didn't get because "pro" wrestling is looked upon as something for kids but it's not that to me. Pro Wrestling, well yes I am not stupid and know it's fake is and athletic sport where "superstars" which is a fancy word for wrestlers tell their story of a physical battle in the ring. Now sure you can look at it for it's huge men in the ring battling in "tights" but it also has storyline plot and things that lead into the matches and isn't just two random people out their. You still have to fight to get to the top of the company and be world champ so anything with that should be considered a sport should it not? Now I'm not going to defend all the aspects of it but if you don't truely understand the sport then you cannot claim it's "just for kids" because, truth be told most wrestling fans are over the age of 18 but since the main company "World Wrestling Entertainment" or "WWE" market to little kids that's what people think of when they think of pro wrestling. I think this is more of because people only know WWE when it comes to pro wrestling. They know them for names like Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin but do most people know their are other promotions all around the country not on TV? Do most people know that pro wrestling in Japan is basically a religon in how serious they take it? Some people say if you can be a big superstar in Japan then you can be big just about anywhere but seriously. Pro Wrestling isn't a "kids" sport. Some aspects may be tainted to kids but that's all about the global promotions major marketing plan is to sell to kids.
Maybe I'm just weird for liking pro wrestling but I don't care. Every Monday I have time I watch it and I will continue to do so. Well after Heroes anyways.......

A historic Day
Hello All. This week is a historic week for the town of La Crosse because the first black man to run for president is coming to our hometown tommorow and it should be a historic event. I keep hearing people talk about how their going to see Obama, and I know my grandma and aunt will both be there and I might go I have not decided yet. If I get the time however I would love to go if possible, but not because it's history. No, I am going to go to size up the man whom could be the next runner of our country, because I don't know about you people (although I hope you would agree) that our current President dropped the ball a very very long time ago and I don't want to be the person to vote in another mistake. No, I want to be able to vote in the person who deserves it and will do what is best for our country on election day and I'm not positive if that's Obama or McCain. It should be intresting to see him in La Crosse tommorow though wither it be on TV or if I am there live in person.

A New Job
Life has been very buyy for becay I stard a jew job Son September 12th out at the new Buffalo Wild Wings restraunt. It's the first time I've had a good 8 hour a day job since I was sophmore in High School and it's definatley a change pace. I've been working hard for the last 12 days since we opened. Espicially on Monday the 22nd because that was the day we opened the doors to the public. I got their at around 5 pm on that day and when i got out at around 11:15 I was highly relieved because my feet were killing me and I was just ready to go to sleep. Plus I had school the next morning! However, it's not a bad experince though because the management there is really cool, and it's fun expericne to be back in the work force making my own cash isntead of having to mooch money off of other people. The last time I worked it was a less desirable expericne so this is defiantley a good change of pace and so far I'm liking it. Also, you can't pass up the great food they serve!

Politics
I always find the politics every running year a funny topic. It never ceases to amaze me just how low the politicians will go to win their race. The truth is there isn't much the two runners and their VP's won't do to get the head advantage. However, this election has been something different because as I've been keeping up I found out that McCain's running mate Palin's daughter is pregnant. Now normally, a democrat would unfairly tear that apart because republicans are very family values oriented but Obama and his side have said that they will not bring that up because it's a low blow. Now I don't know about anybody else but I found that very noble of him and it's the small things like this I respect Obama for. I'm not saying I will vote for him for sure but small things like this defiantley make a sway in such a historical race for the oval office.
