I am going to say it right now. I watch pro wrestling and all I can say to anyone who thinks of that weirdly is simply put. So what? We all have things that make us different and this is one of my many qualties. It's one of those things in high School that many people didn't get because "pro" wrestling is looked upon as something for kids but it's not that to me. Pro Wrestling, well yes I am not stupid and know it's fake is and athletic sport where "superstars" which is a fancy word for wrestlers tell their story of a physical battle in the ring. Now sure you can look at it for it's huge men in the ring battling in "tights" but it also has storyline plot and things that lead into the matches and isn't just two random people out their. You still have to fight to get to the top of the company and be world champ so anything with that should be considered a sport should it not? Now I'm not going to defend all the aspects of it but if you don't truely understand the sport then you cannot claim it's "just for kids" because, truth be told most wrestling fans are over the age of 18 but since the main company "World Wrestling Entertainment" or "WWE" market to little kids that's what people think of when they think of pro wrestling. I think this is more of because people only know WWE when it comes to pro wrestling. They know them for names like Hulk Hogan, The Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin but do most people know their are other promotions all around the country not on TV? Do most people know that pro wrestling in Japan is basically a religon in how serious they take it? Some people say if you can be a big superstar in Japan then you can be big just about anywhere but seriously. Pro Wrestling isn't a "kids" sport. Some aspects may be tainted to kids but that's all about the global promotions major marketing plan is to sell to kids.
Maybe I'm just weird for liking pro wrestling but I don't care. Every Monday I have time I watch it and I will continue to do so. Well after Heroes anyways.......

Very well put Evan. I guess I really never thought of it like that. When I was younger I used to hang out with all the neighbor boys and we would watch pro wrestling. That was back when it was called WWE I think. After a match all of us (all the boys and me the only girl) would start wrestling adn throwing each other on the ground and donig the leg drop and all that fun stuff. It seems like just yesterday I abeing thrown around like that. Funny how time flys.
